Come and celebrate the musical achievements of our students at the Stages Music 7^th Annual Student Recital. This year promises to be even more exciting with priceless performances from all age groups. The event will once again take place at beautiful Highlands Church, www.highlandschurch.org, located at 9050 E. Pinnacle Peak Road. (just E of Pima Rd, on Pinnacle Peak Rd). Visit Stages Music (with our friends from Scottsdale Studios & Roxster) at our booth at WestWorld of Scottsdale as part of Arizona Bike Week – Cycle Fest. We’ll have plenty of cool music items on hand to check out, including: guitars and music accessories. Also, be sure to check out local band favorite – ROXSTER, as they open for Grand Funk Railroad on Saturday, April 5^th at 7:00pm. Stages Music and Scottsdale Studios have combined talent and resources to host Camp Jam music clinician and Billy Joel drummer, “Liberty DeVitto”. The event, which is part of the Camp Jam “rock tour” promotional event for kids, will take place at Scottsdale Studios, www.scottsdalestudios.net, located at 9445 E. Doubletree Ranch Rd in Scottsdale, on Saturday, March 29^th, from 10:00am to 1:00pm. The clinic will feature Liberty DeVitto (world-renowned drummer for Billy Joel, Paul McCartney, Stevie Nicks) in an intimate studio setting discussing what it takes to be in a successful band. Other activities to take place during the event are a Rock Solo Competition, and a Guitar Hero III competition. Admission to the event is free however, sign-ups for the competitions will be limited so attendees are encouraged to register in advance at www.campjam.com to ensure a slot. Rock Solo Contestants could win a free week at Camp Jam Overnight. The Guitar Hero Contestant with the highest score will win a $100 gift certificate to Stages Music and a chance to win one week free at Summer Camp Jam in Scottsdale.
